The lecturer claims that the new policy, which allows people to work four days a week instead of five, will have negative effects for companies as well as society. This claim is not in agreement with that of the reading passage, which suggests that such a policy will be beneficial.

According to the lecture, a company that allows employees to have fewer working hours is likely to hire more people to ensure that it meets normal levels of productivity. If this occurs, expenses for training and medical insurance will inevitably rise. The reading passage, by contrast, suggests that employees who enjoy more leisure time make fewer mistakes and work more efficiently, leading to increased profits for the enterprise.

The second point of difference between the lecture and the reading passage concerns the impact of the policy on the unemployment rate. The lecturer asserts that for the sake of saving money, employers might raise their expectations of 4-day employees rather than recruit more people.
Consequently, employees who work 4 days will be forced to finish what they did in 5 days previously, and no additional jobs will be created.

Finally, the lecturer argues that under the new policy, employees will experience not only decreased quality of life (as shorter working hours will translate into less pay), but also fewer chances to be promoted to supervisory positions. However, the reading passage contends that more leisure hours can create opportunities to strengthen family ties and allow employees to develop private interests, making them feel more satisfied with their lives.

The professor actually contradicts the statements made in the passage. She is of the view that dinosaurs are not endotherms i.e. they were not able to keep their body temperature at a constant rate.

The professor contradicts the issue of dinosaurs being endotherms based on the availability of fossils being available in the polar regions, she say that the polar regions in those days were not as cold as they are today i.e at least warm enough for dinosaurs to live. During harsh winters she says that there is a possibility of the dinosaurs actually migrating to warmer regions.

The issue of leg position and movement being used as a reason to classify the dinosaurs as endotherms does not please the professor either. She says that dinosaurs had legs under their bodies to support their huge bodies i.e the legs under the body of the dinosaur were actually to
support the huge weight of the dinosaur and not to provide it with a body structure like endotherms(which is actually suited for running).

The professor acknowledges the presence of haversian canals but also points out that that the fossils show the presence of growth rings. These rings occur due to the thickening of the bone.
The thickening indicates that the dinosaurs weren’t actually growing continuously but were experiencing periods of rapid growth and periods of no growth in succession. This pattern. She says is characteristic of non endothermic animals.

Thus it can be inferred that the professor challenges the passage by giving reasons as to why she thinks that the dinosaur is not an endotherm.

The lecture and the reading passage give the contrary opinions on the topic of how many work days per week is good. The reading passage suggests three pieces of evidence to support that four-day week will be beneficial. However, the lecturer rejects such evidence and agues that five-day week is advantageous.

First, the lecturer challenge that four-day week will have bad effects on company profit, because company will spend more money on training, medical insurance, office space as well as office facility like computers for new employee. On the contrary, the reading passage suggests that the company profits would be boosting since employee would finish tasks effectively with very few errors.

In addition, the lecturer agues that even if company accepts four-day week policy, it would ask the employees to finish the five days work in four days, which will make employees unhappy and unpleasant. This opinion is different from the reading passage, which agues that the society would obtain benefits because four-day week would provide more jobs, reduce unemployment rates.

Finally, the lecturer asserts that employees would lose their jobs because the ability of work will decrease, meanwhile employees would lose opportunity of promotion because company need a supervisor who can work five days per week, whereas the reading passage contends that employees who work four days per week would have more time to build relationship with their families, friends and relax themselves.

The reading passage and the lecture have a contrary opinion about dinosaurs are endotherms, the reading passage provides three pieces of evidence to support that dinosaurs are endotherms, however, the lecturer rejects such evidence with following reasons.

First, lecturer challenges that why dinosaur fossils was discovered in Polar Regions is because they lived in polar regions which is much warmer than now. Many years later, the polar became cold; dinosaurs couldn't migrate to warm place or hibernate like other endotherms. On the contrary, the reading passage suggests that dinosaur fossils in polar is the evidence that they are endotherms.

In addition, the lecturer argued that legs are positioned underneath its body doesn't means dinosaurs are high energy endortherms build for running, That is because such body structure can supports more weight, it's a big advantage for dinosaurs. However, the reading passage argued that such body structure allows sustained physical activity.

Finally, the lecturer contends that although dinosaurs not only have Haversian canals, but also have gross ring which indicates dinosaur weren't rapidly growing in a periods of time. All these gross rings are evidence that dinosaur stop growing or grow more slow during cooler periods. This patter of growth is the typical characteristics of endortherms, whereas the reading passage asserts that 。。。。

The reading passage and the lecture have a contrary opinion about the British cultural artifacts, the reading passage suggests several pieces of evidence to support that the artifacts faced with serious prolems and limitations in Britain, howere, the lecture reject these evidence by introduce a new protection guidline that was released in 1999. The professor believe that the new guildine defintely resolve the problems with following ways.

The professor suggests the new guildline ruled that the contruction company should ask archeaologist to examine the old build before the contruction or destruction. If archeaologists find some artifacts they are interested, they will oragnize a meeting with the people who come from goverment and contruction company to make a plan, the topic will be how to perseve the old artifact. The constructive work can begin after they find a way to preseve the artifacts. On the contrary, the reading passage suggests that artifacts were lost to contruction projects.

The professor argued that the new guildling point out that the cost spent on the researches archaeologists do like examination, presevention, would be paid by the contruction company instead of goverment. However, the reading passage argued that archaeologists said that they don't have enough financial support to do reseach.

The professor contends that there are more and paid work come out, since contruction company need more archaeologists than ever been. Archaelogists need attend to their contruction process, including examination, persevantion and so forth, whereas the reading passage asserted that it was diffcult to have a career in archaeology, people contribte to archaeological only as unpaid amateurs.

First of all, the professor challenged that it looked like the buildings in New Mexico from the outside, but it is obviously not for resident. If people were living in this build, there would have a lot of fire places. But the truth is that the there were some fire places , which belonged to a largest buildings that at least contained one hundred people, could only support ten families use, on the contrary, the reading passage suggested that Chaco structures were purely residential.

What's more, the professor argued that the building was not used to store food supplies, because there was no more big containers to hold the grain maize, and there was no more spoiled maize on the floor, however the reading passage insisted that the building was used to store food supplies.

Finally, the prefessor contended that the houses were absolutely not used as ceremonial centres. The mound not only formed by broken pots, but also formed by other building materials, like construction materials, stone and so forth. It was used as a trash heap. The pots were the leafover regulation used by workers. The reading passage asserted that
