3. 创建 launcher 启动rxvt时自动启动screen

2 安装 ATI显卡驱动

3 字体 美化

安装字体

虽然ubuntu 8.04 LTS 用的文泉驿系列字体已经很不错，但和商业字体还有差距
安装dejavu sans yuanti 和微软雅黑（此字体有版权问题）
下载dejavu sans yuanti字体文件：
http://ftp.ubuntu.org.cn/home/zhuqin_83/
用户名：ubuntu，密码：ubuntuftp
解压后放在 ~/.font目录下
拷贝微软雅黑也放在~/.font目录下
sudo fc-cache -fv
System-->Preferences-->Appearance-->Fonts选择字体
改为上述安装的字体
sudo apt-get install gnome-icon-theme-gartoon
System-->Preferences-->Appearance-->Themes
 Control: Mist
 Color:
  Windows:    #EAEAEA #000000
  Slected items #B7B7B7 #FFFFFF
 Windows Board: Crux
 Icons: Gartoon

GNOME_ternimal
FONT:Dejavu Sans Yuanti Mono 10
Buil-in shemes: Custom

4.安装软件

(1) editer tools

sudo apt-get install vim vim-full ctags  cscope vim-doc ghex

(2) programming tools

sudo apt-get install build-essential devhelp gcc-4.2-doc glibc-doc libstdc++6-4.2-doc diff-doc
sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev libglib2.0-doc libgtk2.0-doc
sudo apt-get install autoconf autogen automake
sudo apt-get install cvs indent libtool subversion
sudo apt-get install glade-3 libglade2-dev anjuta
sudo apt-get install kernel-package fakeroot debhelper gettext gettext-doc dh-make libncurses-dev
sudo apt-get install ddd ddd-doc valgrind meld gnuplot gnuplot-doc

(3) entertainment

添加Medibuntu源
sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/hardy.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get update
安装 MPlayer
sudo apt-get install mplayer mplayer-fonts
配置 Mplayer显示中文字幕
mkdir ~/.mplayer
ln -sf ~/.fonts/yahei_ct.ttf ~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf
gedit ~/.mplayer/gui.conf

sub_cp = "cp936"
font_text_scale = "4.000000"
font_osd_scale = "4.000000"

安装w32codecs多媒体解码器
sudo apt-get install w32codecs gcc-3.3-base libstdc++5
安装gstreamer的解码器
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-pitfdll gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse

5 解决pidgin QQ 群 NULL

下载地址：
http://xxb.is-programmer.com/user_files/xxb/File/libqq.so
替换原来的libqq.so
sudo mv libqq.so /usr/lib/purple-2

6 删除SCIM多余输入法

sudo rm -f /usr/share/scim/tables/*

7 安装 配置emacs23

执行命令安装：
sudo apt-get install emacs-snapshot-gtk  emacs-snapshot-el
字体
让 emacs 不要使用默认的 X 核心字体,转而使用 xft 字体引擎:
gedit .Xresources

Emacs.FontBackend: xft
Emacs.Font:DejaVu Sans YuanTi Mono-15
Emacs.Foreground: Wheat
Emacs.Background: DarkSlateGray
Emacs.ScrollBars: nil
Emacs.Geometry: 126x44+0+0
Xft.dpi: 96
Xft.hinting: none

 更改生效:
xrdb -load ./.Xresources
启动emacs：
emacs
显示中文
emacs23 支持xft，可以显示漂亮的英文，但中文依然十分丑陋，大小不一致，参考http://karronqiu.googlepages.com/emacs_xft.html
删除字体ttf-kochi-gothic , ttf-kochi-mincho ,ttf-baekmuk , ttf-arphic-uming后就OK了
sudo apt-get --purge remove ttf-kochi-gothic ttf-kochi-mincho ttf-baekmuk ttf-arphic-uming
